SilageIQ uses a canonical trait layer so the V2 engine is not tied to one laboratory. Rock River is validated; additional labs are added through adapters.

Architecture: Lab report → lab adapter → SilageIQ traits → validation → V2 score.

Authoritative 2023 V2. Exact active inputs required for a complete score.

Field / environmental context

Standardize where the crop was grown so future SilageIQ comparisons can use real geography, soils and weather rather than location-name proxies.

Agronomic context

Capture what happened around the crop so SilageIQ can eventually learn why performance differs—not just what the lab measured.

Cow response / feeding performance

Link what the cows actually did back to the tested silage. Capture the feeding period and ration context so SilageIQ can validate V2 against real animal performance.
